Senior Crimestoppers is operated by the Senior Housing Crime Prevention Foundation (SHCPF), headquartered in Memphis, Tennessee.

This nationally acclaimed program helps prevent abuse, neglect, theft, vandalism, substandard care, fraud and unethical behavior of any type impacting vulnerable older adults. We deliver our services to our nation's senior housing facilities which improves their residents’ overall quality of life.


  • Serving residents, staff, management, family and visitors in nursing homes, HUD communities, Veterans homes, assisted living communities and independent living communities.
  • Can be funded completely by the banking industry for qualified facilities through the SHCPF’s CRA Partners program.

Terry began his career as a nursing home administrator and successfully ran a 284 bed, long-term care senior living facility, which became the first nursing home to implement the Senior Crimestoppers program. In September 1994, Terry became the first Senior Crimestoppers employee and helped develop the program for SunTrust Bank (formerly National Bank of Commerce), and he has been instrumental in the growth of the program nationally for over 20 years.
